Windsor Leagues Club is proud to share the incredible success of our October Charity of the Month, supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Thanks to the generosity of our members, guests, staff and wider community, we are thrilled to announce that a total of $2,129.00 was raised and donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to support vital breast cancer research and awareness initiatives.
How We Raised Funds Throughout October;
Throughout the month, Windsor Leagues Club turned pink with a variety of fundraising activities designed to bring our community together for an important cause:
💗 Pink Cocktails
Members enjoyed our specially created pink cocktails, with $2 from every drink donated to NBCF.
Featuring:
- Cosmopolitan
- Sex on the Beach
- Yellowglen Sparkling Rosé with grenadine
🎱 Pink Bingo
Our Wednesday Bingo sessions took on a pink theme, with a percentage of funds raised donated directly to NBCF.
🎟️ Major “All Things Pink” Raffle
Held on Sunday 26th October, our end-of-month raffle featured over $3,000 worth of pink prizes, with a portion of ticket sales supporting NBCF.
☕ Pink Morning Tea
Our Pink Morning Tea on Thursday 30th October brought members together for a morning of sweet treats, conversation and community spirit, with gold coin entry donations supporting the cause.
💰 Donation Boxes & Online Giving
Donation boxes were placed at each register throughout October, and members were also able to contribute online via the NBCF fundraising page;

🌸 A Story Close to Our Hearts – Janelle’s Journey
This campaign was especially meaningful as we shared the powerful story of Janelle, a valued Windsor Leagues Club team member and breast cancer survivor.
Diagnosed in January 2022, Janelle’s journey included chemotherapy, surgeries, radiation treatment and a long road to recovery. Today, she is cancer-free, requiring only annual scans.
Janelle’s message is one we proudly stand behind:
“It doesn’t matter how old you are — have regular checks, listen to your body, and stay positive. You can fight it.”
Her strength and positivity inspired our team and community throughout the month.

Raising $2,129.00 is an achievement we are incredibly proud of, and it would not have been possible without the support of everyone who participated — whether by attending an event, purchasing a pink cocktail, buying raffle tickets, donating spare change, or sharing our message.
