🚨NSWRL Melee Escalation Policy 🚨
Please be advised that the below links to NSWRL Melee Escalation Policy will be implement for all NSWRL Metropolitan Junior League Competitions as of the 26th of June 2026.
In summary, any team that has been judged to have escalated or joined an on-field incident will be stood down from their next competition match at the sole discretion of the NSWRL.
There will be ZERO TOLERANCE for the act of Melee Escalation regardless of circumstances. Please also note further penalties are added as breaches become more serious.
The Policy has been bought in due to increases in the number of on-field situations that are leading to multiple players running in, and in some cases spectators and / or team staff becoming involved.
The message is simple, if an incident of foul play happens on the field, tell your players not to become involved and retreat from the area. Allow the Match Officials to deal with the issue at hand.

We would urge all Coaches, Support Staff, Players, Parents and Supporters to be aware of the policy and the penalty’s involved prior to weekend matches.
Beware, Be Fair, Be Warned.
