🚨 ZERO TOLERANCE TO VIOLENCE 🚨

🚨 ZERO TOLERANCE TO VIOLENCE 🚨

Due to a number of serious recent incidents across the competition, the Panthers District Junior Rugby League has officially introduced new By-Law 1.8 – Zero Tolerance to Violence.

Over recent weeks, FIVE teams across the District have already been stood down due to unacceptable player and spectator behaviour.

The message from PDJRL is clear:

❌ Fighting

❌ Spectator involvement

❌ Abuse or threatening behaviour

❌ Any conduct bringing the game into disrepute

…will NOT be tolerated.

The new Player Behaviour Monitoring Register will apply to all International competitions from U13s through to Open Age – both Men’s and Women’s competitions.

⚠️ Please note: the Register will be backdated to include incidents from Round 1 onwards.

Players involved in serious behavioural incidents may now be placed on the Register. A second qualifying incident can result in the player being stood down for the remainder of the season. Clubs who fail to comply also risk having teams stood down and further sanctions issued.

βœ…As a club, we fully support this initiative and ask all players, coaches, officials, parents, and spectators to help create a safe, respectful, and positive environment for everyone involved in our game.

πŸ‰ Rugby League is built on respect.

πŸ’šπŸ’› Support your team with pride.

πŸ‘ Respect referees, volunteers, players, and fellow spectators.

There is absolutely no place for violence or abuse in junior sport.
